Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Manager of Materials Planning to lead the end-to-end planning function. You will own material availability to support the production plan and customer commitments, set safety stock and inventory targets, and govern ERP/MRP parameters to ensure data accuracy and disciplined planning.

You will drive the SIOP/S&OP process with Operations and Commercial, oversee supplier performance, and manage KPIs such as inventory turns and past-due items while building a strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of materials planning or supply-chain experience.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• 5+ years of MRP/ERP planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the materials planning organization and end-to-end planning process.
• Own material availability to support the production plan and customer commitments.
• Set inventory strategy, safety stock policy and days-of-supply targets.
• Govern ERP/MRP planning parameters, data accuracy and system discipline.
• Lead the supply side of the SIOP/S&OP process with Operations and Commercial.
• Drive supplier delivery performance and shortage-mitigation plans.
• Manage planning KPIs (material availability, inventory turns, past-due) and improvement plans.
• Builds, coaches and develops the planning team.
