Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Materials Requirements Planner to coordinate and execute planning and procurement of raw materials and components. You will convert MPS outputs into material requirements to ensure on-time availability for production and present plans to suppliers within agreed lead times.

You will work to optimize material flow, respect warehouse capacity and inventory targets, and minimize storage costs and scrap.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, publish and communicate Materials Requirements Plans (MRP).
• Maintain inventory levels within goals, minimize excess and obsolescence.
• Ensure material delivery schedules are communicated to suppliers on time.
• Collaborate with Global Procurement to drive supplier performance improvements.
• Track and report supplier service performance at site level.
• Coordinate with Quality and Warehouse regarding rejected/defective materials and returns.
• Support continuous improvements of the planning process.
