Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Sr Manager, External Supply Planning-Orthopaedics to lead the external supply planning team across multiple US sites (Raynham, MA; etc.). • Minimum 8 years in healthcare or complex regulatory environment with leadership in supply chain planning.
• In-depth understanding of E2E supply chain principles.

• Experience mentoring and developing diverse talent in a complex setting.
• Ability to create customer-centric E2E supply chain strategies and measurable results.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly supply planning for the Depuy Synthes portfolio.
• Develop Master Production Schedule by supplier site and participate in capacity reviews.
• Monitor supply performance and initiate corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Supervise demand, supply and executive reviews to improve planning, service and efficiency.
• Ensure product availability at the right place, time and quantity for customers.
• Lead and coach the team to deliver accurate results and commitments.
• Analyze inventory levels to meet business plans and service levels.
• Drive cost optimization and improve inventory visibility.
• Support the Global IBP process in Executive Supply Review sections.
• Support 12–24 month planning, NPIs and capex impact forecasting across platforms.
• Own global metrics (backorders, OTIF, inventory targets, etc.) and drive improvements.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and align planning processes.
• Evaluate planning system parameters affecting net requirements and inventory targets.
• Lead blueprint for autonomous, no-touch planning with analytics and AI.
• Ensure alignment with MedTech/Depuy Synthes blueprint.
• Support E2E platform teams with analytics to optimize platform metrics.
