Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Permanent Materials Planner to join its manufacturing team. The role focuses on coordinating and executing material planning, procurement, and forecasting to support production processes.

You will manage inventories, lead supplier relationships, and drive efficiency using ERP systems and Lean principles. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least five years in materials planning within manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in materials planning in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience with production planning, inventory management, ERP systems, procurement, and forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement materials planning strategies to meet production requirements and optimize resource use.
• Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or excesses.
• Use ERP systems to track materials, forecast needs, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Lead procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships.
• Forecast material needs and schedule deliveries accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth material flow through production.
