Job summary

The State Group is seeking a Materials Manager for a 15-month project in Hawesville, Kentucky. This role will oversee receipt, storage, and delivery of tools and materials for a large site with 2,000+ employees, working closely with the senior project team to meet timelines and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical construction warehouse management, a high school diploma, and strong Excel/tool-platform proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of electrical construction warehouse experience on large projects.
• Proficiency with Excel and material/tool platforms.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inventory, and deliver tools and materials for a large job site ($500M+).
• Assist with forecasting to meet timelines and customer expectations.
• Ensure proper inspection, storage, and tracking of inventory.
• Manage on-site fleet vehicle inventory and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to improve warehouse efficiency.
