Job summary

Lincoln Electric in Euclid, Ohio, seeks a Manager, Operational Procurement, Production Planning & Inventory Control to lead end-to-end material planning, inventory control, and supplier alignment in a high-mix, high-volume welding environment.

This hands-on leader will own SAP planning strategy (MRP, lot sizing, safety stock), oversee PO execution, mentor a team of Buyers and Inventory Analysts, and partner across Global Sourcing, Finance, and Operations to protect production schedules.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, production planning, and inventory management within a discrete manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end material planning, inventory accuracy, and supplier alignment across high‑mix, high‑volume welding manufacturing.
• Own SAP planning parameters (MRP, lot sizing, safety stock, lead times) and oversee PO execution.
• Oversee cycle count program and annual physical inventory; drive improvements in inventory accuracy and ERP discipline.
• Mentor and develop Buyers, Buyer Planners, Inventory Analysts, Cycle Counters, and Operations Team Leads.
