Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Senior Engineer to help shape the future of sustainable packaging. You will develop polymer and material technologies, lead product development from concept to commercialization, and work with R&D and business leaders to identify opportunities.

Travel to production facilities and customer sites will be required. You will collaborate with global teams to bring new solutions to market, driving growth and maintaining competitiveness through advanced materials

Qualifications

B.S./M.S./Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or in Polymer Science & Engineering.
B.S./M.S. Minimum 5 years of experience in product development with extrusion of plastics or polymers.
Dual degree in Mechanical and Chemical Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify material technology gaps with R&D and business leaders and execute a plan to fill them.
Ensure timely completion of material technology and product development projects with priorities defined by R&D leadership.
Develop and commercialize products to support new business development opportunities.
Travel to Sealed Air production facilities and customer sites as required.
Lead projects with the right technical resources and ensure timely completion.
Collaborate with business divisions and other functions to meet project objectives.
Assess new material technologies for viability and potential business impact.
