Job summary

Adept Group is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead packaging development for flexible films, folding cartons, and corrugated packaging. The role emphasizes cost savings, quality improvement, sustainability, and collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in packaging and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with strong communication and multi-project management skills. Food-packaging experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years of packaging industry experience.
• Experience with flexible films, folding cartons, and corrugated packaging.
• Ability to work effectively within a cross-functional organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across internal and external teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines.
• Food industry experience preferred; confectionery or candy packaging experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support packaging projects from development through implementation.
• Develop and maintain packaging specifications.
• Coordinate and lead production-line trials.
• Conduct lab testing and evaluate results.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
• Manage project timelines and communicate results, risks, and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, quality improvement, innovation, and sustainability.
