Job summary

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections is seeking a Materiel Management Specialist IV at Bill Johnson Correctional Center. This full-time, on-site role manages procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and equipment to support the facility.

Responsibilities include receiving, issuing, shipping, inventory control, records maintenance, and supervising staff. The salary is $34,844.16 annually and is non-negotiable; lifting requirements may apply, and travel is required.

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience in stock handling, warehousing and inventory control.
• Experience coordinating purchases, storage, and distribution of materials.
• Ability to write simple reports and supervise personnel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and push/pull up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Receives, issues, ships and arranges materials, records and mail in proper locations.
• Assists requisitioners in preparation of specifications and coordinates with Purchasing.
• Supervises and trains subordinate personnel and edits requisitions and purchase orders.
• Maintains inventory records and stock control; ensures safety and OSHA standards.
