Job summary

The Oklahoma Office of Juvenile Affairs seeks a Materiel Management Specialist to assist with storage, inventory control, and delivery of equipment at Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh, OK. Experience in procurement and distribution of supplies and warehouse work is preferred.

Responsibilities include managing from acquisition to disposal of supplies and equipment, inventory control, and coordination with purchasing agents.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of storage methods and inventory techniques and maintaining detailed inventory records.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment including forklift and maintain warehouse records.

Responsibilities

• Receives, issues, ships and arranges materials and supplies in proper locations.
• Provides centralized mail services or printing functions as needed.
• Inspects items for conformance with specifications.
• Conducts inventories and maintains records; prepares reports.
