The Office of Juvenile Affairs is seeking a Materiel Management Specialist to manage storage, inventory control, and delivery of equipment at the Central Oklahoma Juvenile Center in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

The role emphasizes procurement, distribution, and warehouse operations, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with agency policies. A valid Oklahoma driver’s license and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in receipt, storage, or stock handling work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of storage methods and inventory techniques; ability to maintain detailed inventory records.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklift.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, issue, ship and arrange materials, equipment, records and supplies.
• Maintain inventory records and prepare reports.
• Assist requisitioners in preparation of specifications and purchase requests.
• Coordinate with agency purchasing and central purchasing.
• Supervise and train subordinate personnel; edit requisitions and purchase orders.
