Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a leading RTX aerospace company, is seeking a Senior Material Program Manager to lead material strategies for STaRS programs in a high‑stakes supply chain environment. You will coordinate with program offices, engineering, and procurement to ensure on-time material availability and cost control.

The role requires 6+ years in supply chain, SAP experience, and the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years of experience.
• Minimum 6 years experience in a supply chain role.
• Experience in material sales forecasting, risk & opportunity management, EAC/EVMS.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for the clearance.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Manager and cross-functional leaders to execute AOP, OTD, and material coverage.
• Develop and execute program material strategies and supplier risk mitigation.
• Establish material sales forecasting for assigned program and product line.
• Lead FEOTB front-end activities related to MRP planning, releases, and EAC reporting.
• Collaborate with Program, Factory, and Supply Base to ensure material coverage for MRPs.
• Establish accurate manufacturing plannings with POM and the Program to manage risks & opportunities.
• Drive cost, schedule, and technical performance through cross-functional collaboration.
• Engage with Engineering, Mission Assurance, and Supply Chain to drive supplier performance.
• Prepare and present information for weekly/monthly management reviews.
• Support proposals including BOE, material pricing inputs, RFQ planning, and CAPA closure on TINA requirements.
