Job summary

Lucid Motors in Arizona is seeking a Senior Material Planner to strengthen material readiness and supplier execution, supporting production launches and ongoing operations in a fast-paced EV manufacturing environment. You will own material planning for assigned suppliers, improve visibility of supply risks, drive resolution of shortages, and ensure clear-to-build readiness for production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years material planning experience or equivalent with 9 years of direct material planning experience.
• Experience in automotive/manufacturing/high-volume production environments.
• Strong knowledge of MRP processes, SAP, production planning, inventory control, and supply chain operations.
• Ability to analyze schedules, material coverage, and risks, and present recommendations to leadership.
• Fluent English communication for work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate material requirements to assigned suppliers to protect production schedules and cost objectives.
• Own day-to-day supplier follow-up for parts, drive delivery commitments, and resolve issues.
• Improve On-Time, In-Full delivery performance and support corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, NPI, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Logistics to resolve constraints and support launches.
• Provide clear-to-build status and shortage visibility to support production decisions.
