Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Material Planner for its Phoenix manufacturing site to strengthen production readiness through improved supply planning, supplier communication, and inventory visibility. You will own material coverage for assigned commodities, improve clear-to-build visibility, and mitigate shortages in a high-volume EV environment.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in material planning, strong Excel/PM tools skills, and experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 years of material planning, supply chain, production planning, or related experience.
• 2 years of account management, supplier management, or supplier operations experience.
• Proficiency with planning and reporting tools (Excel, Office, Project, Smartsheet).
• English reading/writing/speaking proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate material requirements to supplier base via MRP.
• Own day-to-day supplier follow-up to protect delivery commitments.
• Provide clear-to-build status and risk visibility for informed decisions.
• Partner with Purchasing, NPI, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Quality and Logistics to resolve constraints.
• Manage planning parameters and inventory signals to balance service levels and costs.
• Perform what-if analyses and planning models for demand/schedule changes.
• Lead or support initiatives to improve OTIF, reduce lead times, and support new product rollouts.
