Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 4+ years in material planning/supply chain
• In absence of degree, 8+ years related experience accepted
• Advanced proficiency in ERP/MRP systems
• Exposure to engineering change processes and master production planning

Responsibilities

• Conduct MBOM reviews and maintain revision control in ERP
• Oversee creation/processing of sales orders, manufacturing orders, and purchase requisitions/POs
• Allocate raw and finished goods to meet production schedules
• Monitor and optimize material levels to prevent shortages
• Manage firm/planned/in-shop manufacturing orders for seamless production
• Identify and resolve material and scheduling issues promptly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and execute supply chain schedules
• Develop and maintain advanced supply chain schedules for optimal planning
• Use MRP systems to plan inventory, production, and procurement with data integrity
• Lead initiatives to improve material planning processes and mentor junior planners
