Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Materials Planner to drive end-to-end material flow for defense hardware, owning from raw components to finished goods. You will translate engineering demand into build schedules and collaborate with Purchasing and Manufacturing to ensure component availability.

The role emphasizes strong ownership, rapid iteration, and accountability to keep production lines running, with onsite Irvine placement and opportunity to influence multiple product lines.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of material planning, production control or supply chain experience in a high-mix manufacturing environment.
• Ownership mindset and ability to lead corrective improvements.
• Experience managing complex Bills of Materials for electro-mechanical assemblies.
• ERP/MRP experience (Oracle preferred).
• Strong Excel skills to build shortage trackers.
• Willing to travel 15–20%.
• Eligible for U.S. Top Secret clearance.
• Able to work full-time onsite in Irvine, CA.

Responsibilities

• Production & Material Scheduling: translate engineering demand into build schedules and align with Strategic Sourcing to ensure component availability.
• CTB Management: monitor shortages and generate actionable reports to prevent line-downs.
• ECO/ECN: assess inventory exposure and manage revision cut-ins with Hardware Engineering.
• Supply Signaling: provide demand signals for long-lead components.
• ERP & Master Data Hygiene: manage MRP parameters in Oracle to reflect reality.
• Consumables & Floor Stock: design replenishment strategies to ensure uninterrupted assembly.
• Cross-Functional Execution: collaborate to reallocate materials and expedite critical parts.
• Champion Process Improvement: identify inefficiencies and lead scalable solutions across functions.
