We are looking for an experienced Senior Material Planner to join a forward-thinking team in the aerospace and manufacturing industry. This role is well-suited for professionals who excel in fast-moving environments and are passionate about enhancing supply chain operations.

The Senior Material Planner will work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to develop and implement efficient material planning strategies, ensuring smooth and continuous manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain manufacturing plans, including scheduling and project execution.
• Assess material needs, track lead times, and anticipate shortages for both new product launches and existing production lines.
• Work closely with procurement teams to evaluate make-or-buy scenarios and optimize purchasing strategies.
• Facilitate and accelerate the movement of materials across internal departments and external vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels and usage trends to determine procurement needs and manage raw material stock efficiently.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to enhance supply chain operations and ensure accurate data within ERP systems.
• Ensure compliance with established procedures and standard work instructions to maintain operational consistency.
• Provide management with on-demand analyses to evaluate material readiness and mitigate potential supply chain risks.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in an engineering or manufacturing setting.
• Strong background in MRP accuracy, forecasting, and demand planning.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical drawings.
• Experience with technical planning procedures, including maintaining PLM to ERP data integrity.
