Job summary

EVONA in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Material Planner to ensure materials are available at the right time to support complex, high-tech manufacturing programs.

You’ll manage MRP, inventory, production readiness, and NPI, collaborating with Engineering, Procurement, and Operations to keep schedules intact in a fast-growing space technology environment.

This on-site role offers hands-on planning across ERP systems and cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant material/planning experience.
• Strong MRP, material planning, inventory management, and supply planning knowledge.
• Experience within aerospace, space, defence, electronics, automotive, or complex manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP experience - SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar.
• Excel and reporting/data visualization experience - Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
• Experience supporting NPI or engineering-driven manufacturing is highly valuable.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain integrated material plans aligned with production schedules
• Analyse MRP, demand, inventory levels, forecasts, and supply commitments
• Identify and resolve material shortages, excess inventory, and supply constraints
• Build recovery plans to protect production schedules and customer deliveries
• Support NPI, engineering changes, production transitions, and changing demand
• Maintain planning parameters and material data within ERP/MRP systems
• Partner with suppliers and procurement teams to resolve availability issues
• Work cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Program Management, Operations, and Finance
• Drive improvements across inventory performance and planning processes

We’re partnering with a fast-growing space technology company developing advanced communication hardware for satellites, spacecraft, UAVs, launch vehicles, and airborne platforms

You’ll play a key role across material planning, MRP, inventory management, production readiness, and new product introduction (NPI).
