Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Technician to maintain and repair automated packing and distribution equipment across our material handling network in Greensboro, GA.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and support Kaizen initiatives to improve site efficiency. The role requires hands-on experience with standard maintenance practices, strong problem-solving abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of job-related experience or equivalent combinations of education/experience.
• Must meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience analyzing information and applying standard practices to make judgments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent organizational skills and inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills for percentages, fractions, and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and safety training.
• Support efficiency Kaizen activities for the site and network.
• Develop and implement department business plans and budgets.
• Manage internal and externally sponsored projects to meet deadlines.
• Keep material handling equipment in top condition with regular maintenance.
• Identify and locate required products during delivery processes.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Check safety systems functionality.
• Apply standard principles with practical experience.
