Job summary

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a Material Handling Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair automated packing and distribution equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot systems, and support Kaizen improvements while following defined procedures under supervision. This role requires a high school diploma and ability to lift 50 lbs, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1–2 years of related experience; combination of experience and education considered.
• Able to meet physical requirements including lifting 50 lbs+, standing, walking, climbing.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to follow basic routines and standards.
• Strong communication skills.
• Basic math skills for percentages, discounts, and markups.

Responsibilities

• Assist with technical and safety training.
• Support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site and network.
• Adhere to department business plans and budgets.
• Keep material handling equipment in good condition via regular maintenance.
• Identify and locate the right products during delivery.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Check the functionality of safety systems.
• Follow procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Deliver output by following defined procedures.
