Job summary

Kenco Fleet Services, LLC is seeking a Service Technician II to perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors. You will schedule PMs, inspect equipment for safety, troubleshoot using manuals, and communicate issues to onsite staff and the Parts Manager.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of mechanic experience, with ASE and electrical/pneumatic skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanic experience, preferably with material handling equipment, automated systems, or conveyors.
• Ase Certification preferred.
• Electrical and pneumatic experience preferred.
• Able to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or in a team.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and supply own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain all material handling equipment, automated systems, and conveyors.
• Schedule PMs and keep records of PMs completed.
• Inspect equipment to ensure OSHA and operational standards.
• Troubleshoot engines, transmissions, and electrical systems using manuals and diagrams.
• Communicate issues and parts needs to onsite staff and Parts Manager.
• Maintain accurate repair records and complete paperwork.
• Test safety equipment and ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
• Interact professionally with customers and coworkers; maintain a clean service area.
