Job summary

CBRE Material Handling Maintenance Sr. Technician is responsible for the complex installation, preventive maintenance, and corrective repair of automated packing and distribution equipment.

The role covers training, Kaizen support, project and budget management, and daily activities to meet department deadlines, while keeping equipment in peak condition. A High School Diploma or GED with 2–3 years of related experience is required; proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to lift 50 lb+

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2-3 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and safety training.
• Support efficiency improvement Kaizen activities for the site and network when needed.
• Develop and implement department business plans and budgets.
• Manage internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities to meet department and distribution deadlines and goals.
• Keep all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance.
• Identify and locate the right products during the delivery process.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Check the functionality of safety systems.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
