Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Material Handling Maintenance Associate to maintain production and distribution, document materials, and prepare finished products for shipment. You will handle incoming/outgoing materials, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain accurate BOMs and traveler records.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with several years of related experience, strong math and Excel skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office products. This is an on-site position in the US.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.
• Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Use automation systems to manage inventory.
• Forecast and source raw material purchases based on the production plan.
• Review and place purchasing requisitions based on business needs.
• Advise equipment control manager of necessary changes to the system to reduce costs.
• Pick and confirm medical equipment for other technology companies; ensure OSHA compliance.
• Verify traveler and bill of materials; assist in material discrepancy activities.
• Examine, stock, and distribute materials to inventory and manufacturing lines.
• Develop a new method to measure pallet weights leaving/entering the facility.
• Gather and analyze data to identify and solve problems with little precedent.
