Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Sr. Technician for Material Handling Maintenance to oversee installation, preventive maintenance, and repair of automated packing and distribution equipment. You will ensure equipment reliability and participate in safety and process-improvement initiatives.

This role requires performing regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and staying aligned with CBRE RISE values while meeting site deadlines and budgets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of related experience.
• Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties as required.
• Use existing procedures to solve standard problems and make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills for percentages, fractions and related calculations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and safety training.
• Support Kaizen activities for site and network efficiency.
• Develop and implement department plans and budgets.
• Manage internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities to meet deadlines.
• Keep material handling equipment in good condition via regular maintenance.
• Identify and locate correct products during delivery.
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems.
• Check safety system functionality.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Work within standardized procedures to achieve objectives.
• Exchange information clearly and confirm understanding.
