Job summary

SPX Technologies in Springfield, MO is seeking a 1st shift Material Handler to support production by loading, unloading, and moving materials using SAP entries and production schedules. This role offers a sign-on bonus and the chance to contribute to safe, efficient operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, the ability to read simple instructions, and basic math skills; experience with SAP is a plus.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and write simple correspondence.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Responsibilities

• Reads work orders or follows instructions to ascertain materials.
• Review, maintain and provide comments to production schedule from SAP.
• Correct inventory errors in SAP based on part availability.
• Enter and validate production data using SAP.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, racks, or shelves.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records units of materials moved or handled on weekly inventory cut sheet.
• Other duties as assigned.
