Job summary

Flowserve US Inc in Hastings, Nebraska is seeking a Level 2 Material Handler to support shipping, receiving, inventory and production operations. You will verify and record materials, ensure ERP entries are completed promptly, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced plant environment.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to multitask, and willingness to work overtime as needed. Forklift experience and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of material handling, warehouse operations, shipping, receiving, or logistics experience.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to process shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extra hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and verify materials against bills of lading and packing lists.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and document discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and other departments to resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Record received materials against purchase orders and distribute documentation.
• Complete ERP system receipt transactions within 24 hours of material arrival.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Package outbound materials to ensure safe transport and delivery.
• Process shipping and receiving documentation while maintaining records and archives.
• Support inventory control, material movement, and stockroom activities.
• Follow warehouse procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.
