Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking a Material Handler to move goods within the warehouse using forklifts, RF devices, and other lifts. You will support production and shipping, maintain inventory accuracy, and help keep operations efficient and safe.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures in a fast-paced environment. Prior forklift experience and basic warehouse skills are required, with opportunities for cross-training and growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of warehouse experience required.
• Prior forklift operation experience required.
• Leadership experience is a plus.
• WMS or RF Unit system experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift equipment and other lifts to move goods safely.
• Stack and organize freight per safety and quality standards.
• Plan efficient movement of freight based on layout and volume.
• Inspect forklift equipment and ensure safe operation.
• Move goods to production areas or storage as needed.
• Support inventory control and shipping/receiving activities.
• Monitor product quality and report issues to prevent problems.
• Record and document materials to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Prepare orders for palletization and relocation as required.
• Maintain baseline productivity and communicate fulfillment issues to management.
• Assist the Inventory Control team as needed.
• Support 5S housekeeping and cross-training as required.
