Job summary

Flowserve in Hastings, Nebraska is seeking a Material Handler - Level 2 to move materials, support shipping/receiving, and maintain inventory accuracy for on-time deliveries. You will help ensure safe storage and distribution of materials within a busy facility.

Responsibilities include unloading, inspecting, ERP transactions within 24 hours, and coordinating with Purchasing. 3–5 years in material handling and a high school diploma are required; forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• 3–5 years of material handling, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to process shipping, receiving, and inventory transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to multitask in a manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extra hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Unload incoming shipments and verify materials against documents.
• Inspect materials for damage and document discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Purchasing to resolve shipment discrepancies.
• Record received materials against PO and distribute documentation.
• Complete ERP receipts within 24 hours of arrival.
• Verify outbound shipments for accuracy prior to shipment.
• Package outbound materials for safe transport.
• Process shipping/receiving documentation and maintain records.
• Support inventory control and stockroom activities.
• Operate forklifts and equipment safely per Flowserve policies.
