Job summary

Valmont Industries is seeking an individual contributor for shipping and receiving with certification of mobile equipment in Bellville, Texas. The role involves moving material with forklifts, inspecting incoming and finished goods, and maintaining accurate shipping documentation.

Candidates should be able to read tape measures, participate in Lean and 5S initiatives, and support safety programs while meeting production schedules and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate good literacy skills.
• Ability to create and read shipping documents (e.g., bills of lading).
• Knowledge of warehouse processes and material handling.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming product with proper paperwork and labeling.
• Store and stage material in warehouse.
• Perform inventory counts and six-point inspections of finished goods prior to shipping.
• Maintain accurate tags, bills of lading, and shipping/receiving papers.
• Participate in Lean, Gemba, and 5S initiatives and safety audits.
