Job summary

GYMGUYZ NW Washington is seeking a Master Trainer & Territory Development Manager to blend hands-on coaching with leadership, sales, and territory growth. You will train clients, mentor trainers, build partnerships, and drive new business across an assigned territory.

This player-coach role empowers you to continue client training while expanding leadership duties, with opportunities to advance and grow the business. Flexible, part-time schedule and performance-based incentives are included.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal training, strength and conditioning, sports performance, or a related field.
• Leadership, coaching, mentoring, or staff development experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to prospect, network, follow up, and ask for the sale.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Nationally accredited personal training certification or ability to obtain within 12 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and consultations.
• Deliver private, semi-private, group, and B2B training.
• Develop individualized fitness programs.
• Support client retention, renewals, referrals, and satisfaction.
• Mentor trainers in programming, assessments, communication, and service delivery.
• Help maintain consistent service and safety standards.
• Generate B2C and B2B opportunities through prospecting, networking, and outreach.
• Conduct discovery meetings, presentations, assessments, and sales conversations.
• Build and maintain an active sales pipeline.
• Help move opportunities from initial contact through closing and onboarding.
• Develop relationships with businesses, schools, senior communities, residential communities, healthcare organizations, athletic programs, and local organizations.
