First Bus Glasgow Caledonia Depot is seeking a qualified Master Technician to diagnose and fix vehicle faults, support diagnostic equipment updates, and deliver on-site guidance to engineering teams. You will share best practices, attend training courses to maintain technical expertise, and work with the Engineering Manager on upcoming projects.

Based at Caledonia depot, the role requires Level 4 hybrid EV training, Level 3 SVQ/NVQ in PSV/HGV mechanics, a valid UK driving license, and good IT

Qualifications

• Level 4 hybrid EV training is required.
• Minimum Level 3 SVQ/NVQ in PSV or HGV mechanics required.
• Valid UK driving license required.
• Good IT literacy expected.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to support others.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve vehicle faults at Caledonia depot.
• Support updates to diagnostic equipment and provide on-site guidance/training to engineering teams.
• Share technical information and best practices with colleagues; attend training to maintain knowledge.
• Report to Engineering Manager and collaborate with Head of Engineering on future projects.
