Job summary

Harris is seeking a Master Licensed Electrician for a lead-level field position in Fargo, ND. You will plan, install, test, and repair low-voltage building automation wiring and equipment, manage budgets and materials, and mentor junior staff on multiple projects.

The role emphasizes autonomy, project coordination, safety leadership, and collaboration with our design and management teams. Extensive field experience required; strong code knowledge and Microsoft Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
• 5+ years of experience with test equipment, including multimeters and digital analyzers.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programs, schematics, and operation/product manuals.
• Proficient knowledge of building codes.
• Proficient in use/knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring per specs and codes.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical systems and components.
• Read blueprints and submittals to ensure compliance.
• Mentor installation staff and coordinate with Project Management.
• Manage installation budgets and materials.
• Ensure safety on jobsites and lead toolbox talks.
