Job summary

Harris is seeking an Electrical Wiring/Installation technician in Fargo to plan layout and install electrical wiring and equipment in accordance with job specifications and local codes.

You will connect wires to electrical components, test systems with meters, and use power tools to pull wires through conduits, while prioritizing safety and timely project completion. The role includes documenting work and adhering to company installation standards and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring and equipment based on job specifications and local codes.
• Connect wires to electrical components as needed for a complete and operational system.
• Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using ohmmeters or voltmeters to ensure safety and compatibility.
• Place conduit, pipes, or tubing and pull insulated wires through conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
• Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair wiring or equipment.
• Assemble, install, test, or maintain electrical or electronic wiring or equipment using hand tools or power tools.
