Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for the Master Data Office to identify opportunities, drive operational improvements, and serve as the central point of contact for data-domain requests.

You will prioritize work, coordinate with executives and business partners, and ensure timely resolution of issues. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in business analysis or data governance within retail or IT, with strong analytical and communication skills and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Computer Science or equivalent diploma.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Retail or IT.
• Experience with Data Governance and administration preferred.
• Ability to document Merchandising, IT or Finance workflows and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the point of contact for multiple business units, address requests, and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze data to provide insights and improve business visibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements.
• Maintain governance documents and develop domain-specific processes and reporting structures.
• Manage requests in the Master Data Management tool and ensure compliance with governance standards.
• Contribute to enterprise-wide Master Data initiatives and process improvements.
• Support governance adoption through workshops and ongoing training.
