Job summary

Gray Media invites applications for the Centralcast Master Control Manager (Tech) in Atlanta, GA. This senior role leads a shift-based Centralcast Master Control team, ensuring 24/7/365 broadcast operations with strong people management and hands-on leadership.

The role covers scheduling, incident logging, and hands-on support across master control facilities, reporting to the Director of Centralcast and coordinating with local and remote stations. Nights/weekends required.

Qualifications

• Education: A college degree or technical diploma preferred. Experience will be considered in place of a degree.
• Experience: At least 10 years of experience in broadcast television station operation is required.
• Leadership: Prior manager/leadership experience in Broadcast Operations is preferred.
• Knowledge: High-level knowledge of broadcast automation, video servers, audio/video routers, satellite dishes, receivers, and other electronic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operation of broadcast equipment in a Centralcast environment.
• Successful management, scheduling, and leadership of the technical facility and staff.
• Effective communication of issues and problems to management at both local and remote facilities.
• Accurate documentation of on-air operations in the form of logging, reporting, and scheduling.
• Additional Duties — Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned, adapting to the evolving operational needs of the Centralcast Hub.
