Job summary

Leidos seeks a highly skilled MAS Technical Engineer with 8+ years of Maximo experience and advanced Linux proficiency to lead architectural direction and hands-on implementation for NASA Enterprise operations.

You will drive MAS installation, configuration, and integration efforts, including API management, SSO, and data modeling for BI reporting using Power BI and BIRT. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of Maximo technical engineering experience.
• Advanced expertise in IBM Maximo architecture, automation scripting, the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), and REST API integrations.
• Extensive hands-on experience with BIRT reporting and Microsoft Power BI, including reporting requirements and data modeling.
• Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux operating systems and scripting, system operations, and performance management.
• Hands-on experience with MAS installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and patching.
• Knowledge of OpenShift Container Platform and containerization for MAS deployments.
• Experience with MAS user synchronization and SSO solutions, or MAF configuration.
• Experience developing automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Familiarity with secure API management and authentication frameworks.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Experience using Jira Service Management or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present project-related information to executive, leadership, and center teams.
• Lead MAS installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting activities.
• Lead technical design of Enterprise integration architecture supporting NASA Enterprise systems.
• Lead implementation and configuration of secure API management and authentication standards.
• Define API messages, error handling, and monitoring strategies for integrations.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, XML, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Develop and maintain complex scripting for MAS configurations across environments.
• Configure and support Maximo Mobile, including SSO implementations.
• Create configurations in Maximo Mobile using the MAE Configuration app to modify MAS configurations.
• Manage and support MAS user synchronization with Microsoft Entra ID.
• Perform data modeling to support BI reporting needs.
• Utilize Jira Service Management to manage issues and service requests.
