Job summary

Avnet is seeking a Marvell Applications Engineer to lead hardware-focused support for Marvell switching, PHY, and SoC products. This remote/wfh role requires deep knowledge of embedded hardware and the ability to design optimal Marvell-based solutions for customer needs.

Responsibilities include collaboration with FAEs, labs for replication, and assisting customers with API and platform-level adoption. Some travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded system hardware (Network SOCs, switches, PHYs, SerDes, PCIe).
• Experience programming boot devices (IP/NAND) Flash, EEPROMs.
• Proficient with peripherals (NAND/eMMC/SPI, SDIO, USB, I2C, SPI).

Responsibilities

• Understand Marvell networking components and architectures; stay current with product portfolios.
• Architect optimum Marvell-based device solutions for customer requirements.
• Collaborate with FAEs to provide hardware/software support including Linux BSP, U-boot, drivers, and board design debugging.
