Job summary

Close is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Marketing to own and ship the website experience that drives acquisition and conversion. You’ll partner with Marketing and Growth to deliver fast, SEO-friendly, AI-enabled web experiences.

You’ll work on a modern stack (Astro, Sanity, Vercel) and build self-serve tooling for non-technical teammates while maintaining performance and measurement integrity across campaigns and experiments.

Qualifications

• You’ve built beautiful, conversion-focused websites
• You understand measurement, analytics, and experimentation tooling
• You can collaborate with Marketing and Growth to drive key metrics

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously improve a world-class marketing website that is responsive, interactive, and polished
• Make the site fast and findable with performance, SEO, and AI agent considerations
• Manage the infrastructure behind the site: Sanity, components, integrations, and deployment
• Own the measurement integrity: tracking, attribution, conversion events, and data flow
• Build tooling to enable Marketing to self-serve and ship pages, campaigns, and experiments
• Stretch beyond the site and act as an engineering resource to marketing
