Close is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Marketing to own and evolve a fast, conversion-focused website. You’ll work with Astro, Sanity, and a modern stack to deliver engaging pages that drive growth and revenue.

You’ll optimize performance, manage analytics and experiments, and build tools that empower Marketing to ship faster. This role bridges Marketing and Engineering with a focus on AI-driven improvements and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building marketing websites with modern stacks.
• Experience with Astro and headless CMS (Sanity) preferred.
• Strong understanding of SEO, analytics, and experimentation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve a world-class marketing website with interactive features.
• Own site performance, SEO, and indexing for search engines and AI agents.
• Maintain the platform behind the site (Sanity, components, integrations, deployment).
• Ensure measurement integrity: tracking, attribution, funnel data in marketing systems.
• Build tools to let Marketing self-serve and automate page workflows.
• Collaborate across Marketing and Engineering and support other marketing initiatives.
