Opportunity at a Glance

We are looking for an experienced marketing professional who understands the fraud marketplace—whether through direct experience at a financial institution or from a technology provider within the fraud ecosystem. This individual will be responsible for expanding our fraud-focused audience through strategic partnerships, content distribution, and event marketing.

This role requires someone impact-driven and current with key marketing trends, including leveraging AI in workflows and tapping into partner ecosystems. You should be an excellent communicator and comfortable working across teams and functions. This is an opportunity to shape and execute marketing strategies in a mission-driven organization with a strong brand and product, offering a high degree of autonomy.

Responsibilities
  1. Audience Growth & Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to expand ACAMS’ presence in the fraud space, increasing our fraud-related audience and engagement with members, events, and products.
  2. Partnership & Ecosystem Marketing: Collaborate with technology providers, industry groups, and financial institutions on co-marketing initiatives to expand reach and enhance brand visibility.
  3. Community Activation: Partner with social media platforms to engage ACAMS in online conversations about fraud, especially on LinkedIn.
  4. Event Marketing:
    1. Plan and execute ACAMS’ presence at fraud-focused events, including sponsorships, webinars, and experiences.
    2. Coordinate with sales to develop pre-event, during-event, and post-event marketing strategies to maximize ROI and engagement.
    3. Innovate with new event-driven initiatives, both virtual and in-person.
  5. Insights and Reporting: Track and analyze campaign and audience data to refine strategies, measure impact, and meet revenue targets.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including at least 2+ years in the fraud or financial crime space.
  • Experience in B2B marketing, fintech, regtech, or financial services.
  • Proven success in forming partnerships and growing audiences.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives.
  • Proficiency with marketing automation, AI tools, social media, and analytics platforms.
  • Preference for candidates based in DC; other east coast states considered.
