Job summary

Abbott in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager (Endovascular, US Downstream) to join the Strategic Marketing team within the Vascular business. This fully onsite role focuses on developing and executing marketing strategies for the Endovascular portfolio to drive revenue, share, and profitability.

You will lead cross-functional teams, collaborate with Sales and Clinical groups, and influence pricing, forecasting, and business planning to maximize portfolio performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience in healthcare or medical devices is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive US Endovascular marketing plans (US Downstream).
  • Lead US downstream marketing activities including product launch planning and execution.
  • Integrate voice of customer insights into product positioning and demand creation.
  • Identify growth opportunities through market research and competitive analysis.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities: launches, extensions, and end-of-life planning.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Global Marketing for program execution.
  • Develop customer-facing programs and sales enablement tools for adoption of portfolio.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Endovascular, Senior Marketing Manager (US Downstream) to join the Strategic Marketing team within our Vascular business, based in Santa Clara, CA. This is a fully onsite role. Our Vascular business develops innovative, minimally invasive, and cost-effective products for the treatment of coronary and peripheral vascular disease. As a global leader and trusted partner in cardiovascular medical technologies, Abbott's Vascular business is dedicated to advancing care for people impacted by cardiovascular disease. We develop and deliver life-changing, minimally invasive technologies that empower clinicians to navigate complex cases with greater insight, intuition, and innovation.

What You’ll Work On
  • Develop and implement comprehensive US Endovascular marketing plans (US Downstream) and commercialization strategies for the Endovascular portfolio to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
  • Lead US downstream marketing activities, including market assessment, best in class product launch planning and execution, strategically integrate internal and external voice of customer insights, product positioning, competitive positioning and blunting, value proposition development, and demand creation initiatives.
  • Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through market research, competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and industry trend analysis.
  • Manage product lifecycle activities, including product launches, line extensions, portfolio optimization, and end-of-life planning.
  • Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Excellence, Sales Training, Contracting, Global Marketing, Clinical, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory Affair to ensure successful execution of commercial strategies and programs.
  • Develop compelling customer-facing programs and US sales enablement tools that support adoption and utilization of the portfolio with special attention to our differentiated technology.
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to drive field readiness, training, customer engagement initiatives, and effective execution of marketing programs.
  • Support pricing, contracting, forecasting, and business planning activities to maximize portfolio performance and profitability.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals, and industry stakeholders to inform strategy and strengthen market presence.
  • Monitor business performance through defined KPIs and analytics, providing recommendations and implementing actions to improve outcomes.
  • Manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively to maximize return on investment.
  • Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate a team of marketing professionals, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, accountability, and results.
Education and Experience You’ll Bring
  • Bachelors Degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Masters Degree In Business Administration or in a related field is highly desired
