Job description

At AFFORM, we believe organization is an art, one where function and form are never in competition, but in conversation. Formerly known as Parallelle, AFFORM recently entered an exciting new chapter as our brand continues to grow beyond where we began. Our new name is rooted in our design philosophy: A Functional Form, reflecting our belief that beauty and utility should always work together. Our story began with The Travellers, our patented and thoughtfully designed beauty bag created to bring order to everyday routines. What started with one innovative product has grown into a broader mission centered on intentional design, everyday functionality, and creating products that help people move through life with greater ease and confidence.

Founded by Annie Fan, whose 20 plus years of experience designing for leading beauty brands informs every product, AFFORM is now expanding into new product categories and new markets while staying true to the principles that have guided us from the beginning. As we enter this next phase of growth, we remain focused on thoughtful design, purposeful innovation, and helping our customers Arrive Organized!

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to join our Brand Marketing and Digital team at a pivotal moment in AFFORM's growth. Reporting directly to our Director of Brand Marketing and Digital, this is a new senior role on the team, built for an experienced marketer who can take strategy and turn it into work that ships on time and on brand. The Senior Marketing Manager will own the planning and execution of integrated marketing across AFFORM, bringing structure and consistency to how campaigns, launches, and content come together across brand, social, email, eCommerce, and partnerships.

With AFFORM newly rebranded, expanding into new product categories, and preparing to enter international markets, our marketing function is growing in both scope and ambition, and this role sits at the center of that growth. You will partner closely with our Director of Revenue as well as our Product Development, Production, and Wholesale teams to make sure every launch is planned well in advance and every department knows what is coming and when. You will also help guide and develop the junior members of our marketing and creative team, giving them clear direction and real ownership so the team can do its best work. The right person is equal parts strategist and operator: someone who protects the brand, respects the craft behind great creative, and brings the planning discipline and follow-through that allows a small team to perform like a much larger one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and own the integrated marketing calendar for AFFORM, aligning brand campaigns, product launches, promotions, and seasonal moments with revenue and wholesale priorities
  • Lead go-to-market planning for new product launches and category expansions, including a structured launch brief process that gives every department creative direction and timelines at least 60 days ahead of launch
  • Translate the brand vision set by the Director of Brand Marketing and Digital into campaign concepts, messaging, and clear creative briefs for designers, photographers, and content partners
  • Develop campaigns that build AFFORM’s brand awareness and desirability alongside demand for its products
  • Own email and SMS marketing strategy in Klaviyo, including flows, segmentation, campaign planning, and testing that drive retention and customer lifetime value
  • Guide organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest, ensuring content reflects the AFFORM brand voice and supports broader campaign goals
  • Build and scale influencer, creator, UGC, and brand partnership programs, from sourcing and outreach through agreements, content delivery, and performance tracking
  • Manage affiliate shopping programs through LTK and ShopMy
  • Partner with the Director of Revenue on paid media strategy so that creative, messaging, and offers are aligned with performance goals across Meta, Google, and TikTok
  • Support international market entry by adapting campaigns, content, and messaging for new regions in partnership with leadership
  • Provide marketing support to wholesale and retail partners, including launch assets, co-marketing opportunities, and brand guidelines
  • Manage relationships with agencies, freelancers, and creative vendors, holding partners accountable to scope, timelines, budget, and brand standards
  • Manage the marketing budget alongside the Director of Brand, Marketing and Digital, tracking spend and return across campaigns, channels, and partners
  • Track and report on campaign, channel, and content performance, turning results into clear insights and recommendations for leadership
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the marketing and creative team by setting clear priorities, giving regular feedback, and building their independence and ownership
  • Establish and document marketing processes, workflows, and brand standards that allow the team to grow and scale
  • Stay on top of competitors, category trends, and emerging channels, including SEO and AEO, bringing forward fresh ideas that keep AFFORM ahead
Experience and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field required
  • Strong experience building and managing influencer, creator, and brand partnership programs
  • 6 to 8 years of marketing experience, including at least 2 years in a manager level role with ownership of campaigns and launches
  • Experience at a direct-to-consumer brand is required; background in accessories, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle is strongly preferred, and exposure to wholesale is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the women’s consumer market, ideally with experience in handbags or accessories
  • A proven track record of leading integrated campaigns and product launches from strategy through execution
  • Hands‑on experience with Klaviyo or a similar platform, including building flows, segmentation, and A/B testing
  • Working knowledge of Shopify and the eCommerce customer journey
  • A strong understanding of paid social and search, with the ability to partner on paid media strategy and read performance metrics such as ROAS, CAC, conversion rate, and LTV
  • Experience managing agencies, freelancers, and marketing budgets
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or directing the work of junior team members
  • A strong brand sensibility and creative eye, with the confidence to give thoughtful, constructive feedback on visual and written work
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple launches at once; experience with tools such as Asana or Monday.com is a plus
  • Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency; familiarity with Triple Whale, GA4, or similar analytics tools is a plus
  • Experience launching or marketing a brand in international markets is a plus
  • Familiarity with SEO and AEO concepts is a plus
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communicator who is comfortable presenting to senior leadership
  • Thrives in a lean, fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and is just as comfortable rolling up their sleeves as setting direction
What Success Looks Like in This Role:
  • Every launch arrives organized; teams across the company know what is coming, when it is coming, and what they need to deliver well before it matters
  • The marketing calendar becomes something the whole company trusts and plans around
  • Managing at scale a robust influencer program across paid, gifted, and UGC
  • Campaigns ship on time and on brand, and their results are measured, shared, and used to make the next one better
  • Execution is in capable hands, allowing our Director of Brand, Marketing and Digital to focus on brand vision and leadership
  • The junior members of the team grow in confidence and independence under your guidance
  • Email, social, and partnership channels show measurable growth in engagement, retention, and revenue contribution
  • You are a trusted partner to Revenue, Product Development, Production, and Wholesale
  • Over time, you help shape a marketing function that grows alongside AFFORM as we expand into new categories and new markets
