Brought to life by a Kickstarter campaign in 2013, Commodity Fragrances is a modern, American perfumery that has gone from crowd-funded to crowd-favorite thanks to its intuitive and elemental redesign of artisanal fragrance, one that makes for a simple luxury.
Today, Commodity has grown into a global brand with websites shipping to customers worldwide, an international retail presence that includes Sephora North America, and its own award-winning NYC flagship.
As an innovative, rapidly growing business, Commodity places an emphasis on out-of-the-box thinking, entrepreneurial spirit, process creation, and time management, with ample space for learning, growth, and championing projects. Part of a small team, we also value cross-functional collaboration, communication, and a hands-on approach.
We’re looking for a Marketing Manager with beauty industry experience and an omnichannel mindset to join the Commodity team. This is a hands-on marketing role supporting the execution of integrated campaigns, product launches, and key brand initiatives across our DTC, e-commerce, retail, social, CRM, influencer, PR, and other consumer touchpoints.
The ideal candidate has experience working within beauty, fragrance, skincare, cosmetics, or a related premium consumer category and understands how a brand comes to life across both digital and physical retail environments.
You’ll work closely with Marketing, Creative, E-commerce, Sales, Retail, Product Development, Operations, and other cross-functional partners to bring campaigns and launches to life. You’ll help translate marketing plans into clear timelines, deliverables, and executional plans while ensuring teams remain aligned and projects stay on track.
This is an ideal opportunity for a mid-level beauty marketer who is ready to take on greater ownership and visibility within a growing global fragrance brand.
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 based on qualifications, experience, skill set, and other business-related factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation and additional company benefits.
