Job summary

Helmerich and Payne is seeking a Marketing and Events Specialist, Senior to lead planning and execution of customer events, trade shows, and sponsorship activations. The role also develops marketing content across email, social media, digital, and print channels.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates confidently with stakeholders, and can independently lead smaller events from planning through post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in marketing, communications, event planning, hospitality, trade shows, or related field.
• Proven experience planning and executing events, managing logistics, vendors, timelines, and onsite needs.
• Experience writing marketing and communications content for internal or external audiences.
• Ability to manage smaller projects independently while supporting larger programs.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute regional events, dinners, internal programs, and sponsorship activations.
• Support larger events, trade shows, executive programs, and marketing experiences.
• Coordinate timelines, registrations, invitations, venues, vendors, and logistics.
• Develop invitations, communications, run-of-show materials, and follow-up content.
• Coordinate signage, booth messaging, and promotional materials with internal and external teams.
• Maintain event budgets, schedules, and project files.
• Provide onsite support and post-event activities including follow-up and invoicing.
