Job summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a Marketing and Communications Specialist 4 to lead strategic marketing campaigns for a fast-growing SBU in Tysons, VA.

You will report to the CMO and SBU VP, shaping market research, segmentation, and growth priorities while developing campaigns and plans that support new business and long-term positioning. You will manage tools and training, materials, events, and executive-facing presentations, while coordinating partner marketing and OEM collaborations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or industry-related degree with relevant marketing and communications experience
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in marketing and communications with bachelors degree
• Minimum 2 years management experience
• Experience tailoring technical content for lay and specialized audiences
• Experience with professional services, technology, federal contracting, manufacturing, or AEC firms; EPC experience preferred
• Proven leadership for results-driven marketing campaigns and client engagement programs
• Experience managing integrated campaigns as external or in-house consultant
• Experience managing marketing and employee events, site tours, and demonstrations
• Excellent written communications with AP Style mastery
• MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience coordinating complex marketing projects with internal and vendor resources
• Familiarity with SharePoint and website CMS
• Experience with web analytics and social media tracking
• Strong collaborative team player with adaptability and problem solving
• Ability to travel ~20%

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic, integrated marketing communications campaigns for a fast-growing SBU
• Collaborate with CMO and SBU VP on market research, segmentation, and growth priorities
• Develop marcomm campaigns and annual plans aligned with growth goals
• Create tools and training to support customer growth and recruiting
• Produce marketing materials and manage events and tradeshows
• Coordinate leadership for speaking engagements and conference opportunities
• Support partner marketing initiatives and OEM partnerships
• Align SBU priorities with corporate marketing channels and branding
• Drive cross-SBU collaboration and marketing maturity across teams
