Job summary

PeaceHealth seeks a Director of Marketing and Communications to lead an integrated strategy across ministries and service lines. The role guides external and internal communications, supports the organization’s mission, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and standards.

As a senior leader, you will shape the strategic roadmap, manage media relations, and collaborate with digital and brand teams to enhance the organization’s reputation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years progressive experience in communications or marketing management.
• Leadership experience and healthcare experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategic roadmap for prioritized initiatives.
• Provide proactive communications for executives and key stakeholders.
• Manage media issues and crisis communications with system leader.
• Partner with service lines to identify earned media opportunities.
• Develop targeted engagement strategies for caregivers, patients, physicians and the community.
• Collaborate with digital strategy, brand and content teams to advance PeaceHealth's aims.
• Support community relations and strategic sponsorships with local groups.
• Oversee caregivers and budget to meet objectives and promote financial health.
