Job summary

Cloudflare seeks a Senior Marketing Systems and Automation Manager to own and evolve the marketing operations engine. You will govern intake, campaigns, and lead flow, while guiding automation and system architecture with Engineering and Digital Marketing leaders.

You’ll drive a standardized, globally consistent framework with flexibility for regional needs, and partner with BizApps, IT, and BI to ensure data integrity and scalable automation across the marketing stack.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience running marketing operations day to day.
• Proven track record identifying, scoping, and driving automation that reduces manual work.
• Data governance, change control, and lead lifecycle management as documented systems.
• Experience with marketing tech stacks in large-scale B2B environments.
• Hands-on expertise with Marketo and Salesforce and their integration.
• Ability to balance standardized systems with regional flexibility.
• Experience with identity resolution and unified data layer.
• Fluent collaboration with Engineering, IT, BI, and Procurement.
• Budget management and vendor coordination.
• Systems-thinking and automation-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Run the marketing operations engine, owning day-to-day intake, campaign operations, lead flow, and provisioning.
• Own governance and the systems standard, including taxonomy, naming, integrations, and access.
• Identify and drive automation, moving workflows from manual to automated while maintaining control.
• Shape the systems architecture in partnership with Engineering and Digital Marketing leaders to support a unified data layer.
• Partner cross-functionally as marketing’s senior systems partner to BizApps, IT, Engineering, and BI; manage MarTech budgets.
• First-year outcomes include smooth operation under ownership, a single source of truth for models, and measurable reduction in manual effort through automation.
