Job summary

MERGE is seeking a Sr. Marketing Operations Technologist to lead automation solutions in a client-focused marketing tech environment.

You will configure advanced marketing automations in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, manage data extensions, segmentation, and scripting, and collaborate with architects to improve outcomes. You will partner with stakeholders, ensure high-quality deliverables, and explore AI-driven features to enhance campaigns in a hybrid US-based role with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in email marketing and HTML and CSS email coding.
2+ years of hands-on technical configuration in Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar platform(s).
4-5 years of experience with ESP coding languages, SQL, and advanced email automation.
Active Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Marketing Specialist certification or similar certification or able to obtain within 3 months of hire.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal peers and leaders to lead implementations of automation solutions using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other platforms.
Configure advanced marketing automation solutions, including dynamic messages, landing pages, data configuration, segmentation, and scripting.
Pull, load, create, and manipulate subscriber audiences across email platforms and third-party systems.
Develop requirements gathering and documentation with attention to detail.
Design, deploy, and maintain automated email execution processes and reporting.
Evaluate AI-driven features within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and connected tools and propose stack enhancements.
