Job summary

HelloFresh is seeking a hands-on Senior Marketing Automation Engineer to join our Marketing Automation team. We build and run services, integrations and internal tools that automate performance marketing, connect to advertising platforms, move and shape marketing data, and provide our teams with fast, reliable reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Proficiency in Python and REST API design.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with containers, cloud infrastructure (AWS) and CI/CD.
• Ability to ship tested, maintainable production code.
• Familiarity with AI tools in daily workflow.

Responsibilities

• Build services and integrations with advertising platforms (Google Ads, Meta).
• Automate marketing work with data workflows and automations.
• Build internal tools and reporting for marketers.
• Keep systems reliable through testing, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Shape architecture, review code, mentor engineers and collaborate with Marketing and platform teams.
