Location:

Title:

Senior Marketing Analyst

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Duties:

1. Deliver the Marketing Analytics roadmap and other key initiatives to support a data-driven culture.
2. Identify business requirements to partner with IT for accessing and validating data sets, visualize metrics, and build/optimize marketing analytics dashboards primarily in Power BI to communicate KPIs, derive insights, and tell a data story.
3. Leverage analytics tools like R, SQL, and Python to analyze complex data issues, methodologies, and results, communicating findings to business partners in a relevant and actionable manner.
4. Identify important trends and observations in performance results to inform marketing funnel, customer targeting, data science, and digital marketing initiatives.
5. Support the development of "metrics that matter" and enable reports and dashboards with minimal viable products (MVP).
6. Support planning and execution of large-scale, multi-functional analytics projects.

Travel:

Up to 10% domestic and international travel required.

Telecommuting Employee:

Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Math, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Statistics, or related field, plus 5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent plus 3 years of relevant experience.
2. Required knowledge/experience with:

• Scripting and data manipulation using SQL, Python, and Databricks for report automation.
• Data extraction from SQL or NoSQL databases including Oracle.
• BI data architecture and relational database concepts such as star schema and snowflake.
• Enterprise data warehouses including AWS or Oracle.
• Marketing data systems including web/digital and email.
• CRM data systems such as Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Leading data visualization tools including Power BI and Excel.
• Marketing analytics tools including A/B testing and statistical analysis.
